Design & Experience
Skincare website development
Skincare websites for ingredients and routines — education that can be edited, not claims hardcoded into a theme.
Skincare buyers need who it is for, what is in it, and how it fits a routine. Weblexia builds skincare websites for clinical and independent brands that need structured ingredient content, concern-led IA, and a store merchandisers can run. Claims stay editable for legal; the theme does not invent science.

01 — What we build
What this engagement covers
01
Ingredient and routine content
Metafields or CMS fields communications can update without a deploy.
02
Concern-led shopping
Collections and PDPs organised how customers decide — not a single shop grid.
03
Replenishment when it is real
Subscription UX only if ops can honour skips and swaps.
02 — What's included
In a typical statement of work
- IA for concerns, routines, and products
- Design and implementation on the agreed platform
- Ingredient and usage content model
- PDP and collection templates
- Performance budget on education-heavy pages
- Launch and handover notes
03 — Process
How the work actually runs
- 01
Brand and catalog reality
How you sell, who merchandises, and which platform actually fits — written before design polish. We will not start in Figma against an unchosen stack.
- 02
Architecture
Templates, content model, and commerce rules if there is a cart. Platform choice is part of this step, not a logo on the proposal cover.
- 03
Design and build
Figma where it earns its keep, then implementation on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, or Webflow as scoped. Performance on the templates that take traffic is part of the same pass.
- 04
Launch and handover
Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and notes the team can operate. Go-live is a rehearsal.
05 — Why Weblexia
How we partner on this work
01
Category constraints first
Jewellery, skincare, and furniture do not share a theme. We start with catalog, claims, and fulfilment — then pick the stack.
02
Platform as a decision
Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, and Webflow are tools. We recommend one in writing. We will not implement three 'just in case'.
03
Operators can run it
CMS fields, sections, and merchandising rules are built for the people who ship campaigns after we leave.
04
No invented prices
Investment follows discovery. Published bands on the pricing hub orient the conversation; the statement of work follows the catalog and stack.
Partnership signal
What happens when you reach out
A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.
Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.
06 — Capabilities
What we typically implement
- Skincare IA
- Ingredient CMS
- Routine merchandising
- Claim-safe content
- Figma
- Shopify
- WordPress
- WooCommerce
Investment
Productized economics
Published ranges and tiers orient the conversation — final statements of work reflect your stack, traffic, and risk profile after a short consultation.
Consultative engagement
- Design engagements are scoped as partnerships — milestones, success metrics, and governance are agreed before material engineering spend.
- Review engagement models on the pricing hub, then book a consultation for a tailored proposal.
09 — FAQs
Questions we are asked before a proposal
Do you write clinical claims?
No. We structure where they live. Your formulators and counsel own the words. We will not hardcode a claim you will rewrite in week two.
Clinical vs indie aesthetic?
Both. The content model is the same; the visual system follows the brand. We do not ship a generic 'clean girl' theme as a substitute for IA.
Shopify or WordPress?
Shopify for most DTC skincare. WordPress plus WooCommerce when editorial and catalog must share a CMS. We pick one.
Next step
Discuss your skincare website with the team that ships it.
Share the catalog, the current site, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
