Shopify for health and wellness

Wellness Shopify stores that treat claims, subscriptions, and replenishment as operations — not marketing widgets.

Health and wellness catalogs live or die on trust, serving size, and whether customers can replenish without a fight. Weblexia builds Shopify for supplement, recovery, and wellness brands that need structured product data, subscription paths that match ops, and content legal can stand behind.

01 — What we build

What this engagement covers

  1. 01

    Structured product education

Serving size, ingredients, and who it is for as metafields — so PDPs stay consistent when the line expands.

  2. 02

    Replenishment that matches ops

Selling plans and subscription UX only when warehouse and support can honour them. We will not install a subscription app as decoration.

  3. 03

    Protocol and bundle merchandising

Stacks and routines as catalog logic merchandisers control, not a one-off landing page for every campaign.

02 — What's included

In a typical statement of work

  • OS 2.0 architecture for wellness catalogs
  • Ingredient, serving, and use metafields
  • Subscription and selling-plan review
  • Bundle and protocol collection patterns
  • PDP performance budget with dense content
  • App review for quizzes, reviews, and replenishment
  • Launch, redirects, and handover notes

03 — Process

How the work actually runs

  1. 01

    Catalog and operations

We map how you actually sell: variants, bundles, subscriptions, shipping rules, and who will merchandise the store after launch.

  2. 02

    Storefront architecture

Templates, metafields, and collection logic are specified before theme polish. Apps are chosen against that model — not stacked because a competitor uses them.

  3. 03

    Theme build

Online Store 2.0 sections, PDP performance, and editor training. Campaign modules are built so merchandisers can ship drops without a developer ticket.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and a written operating note. Go-live is a rehearsal, not the first time the catalog is complete.

05 — Why Weblexia

How we partner on this work

  • 01

    Catalog-first, not theme-first

Industry Shopify work fails when a pretty theme is dropped on an unmodelled catalog. We start with variants, merchandising, and checkout constraints.

  • 02

    Merchandisers can operate it

Sections, metafields, and collection rules are built for the team that will run campaigns — not only for the screenshot at launch.

  • 03

    Apps treated as liabilities

Every app is a performance and ops cost. We keep what the category actually needs and document what we refuse to install.

  • 04

    Performance as acceptance

PDP weight, image pipelines, and third-party scripts are part of done. Fashion, beauty, and D2C traffic does not wait for a follow-up speed project.

09 — FAQs

Questions we are asked before a proposal

Can you help with health claims on the store?

We structure where claims live and keep them editable. We are not your regulatory counsel. Copy that cannot be defended should not be hardcoded into the theme.

Do you build supplement quizzes?

When they are a scoped product — one path, one owner, and a performance budget. A quiz that recommends SKUs you cannot keep in stock is worse than a clear collection taxonomy.

Subscriptions are messy. Will you still take the work?

Yes, if we can see how cancellations, skips, and discounts actually work today. We fix the theme and the selling-plan UX; we will not pretend a broken 3PL is a frontend problem.

Is this only for supplements?

No. Recovery, personal care, and wellness devices use the same pattern: structured specs, replenishment where it is real, and merchandising that does not invent medical theatre.

Next step

Discuss your health and wellness Shopify store with the team that ships it.

Share the catalog, the current theme, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped Shopify build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
