Website design for Australian startups
Startup websites for Australian teams — positioning you can rewrite without rebuilding the stack every raise.
Early AU teams need a site before they need a custom application. Weblexia designs and builds startup sites remotely on WordPress or Webflow: product, proof, hiring, and waitlist as templates. Overlap with AEST so founders are not reviewing staging at 1am.

Typical engagement
- Sitemap for an early-stage site
- Design and implementation
- CMS for product, team, and proof
- Forms on the paths that matter
- Performance on home and product
- Written reply within two business days
- Reviewed by a senior lead — not a qualifier
- A clear decline if the fit is not mutual
01 — What we build
What this engagement covers
01
Positioning websites
Home and product templates that survive a deck rewrite.
02
Launch surfaces
Waitlist, careers, and campaign pages as CMS patterns.
03
A stack a small team can keep
WordPress or Webflow — not an enterprise toolkit.
02 — What's included
In a typical statement of work
- Sitemap for an early-stage site
- Design and implementation
- CMS for product, team, and proof
- Forms on the paths that matter
- Performance on home and product
- Launch against AEST/AEDT
03 — Process
How the work actually runs
- 01
Market and operations
Who publishes, which market you sell into, and how we will run overlap with AEST/AEDT. Remote delivery is stated in writing — we do not pretend a Sydney office exists.
- 02
Architecture
Templates, CMS or catalog, and platform choice before visual polish. GST, shipping, and payments are treated as constraints you own with your accountant — not as theme features.
- 03
Build
Implementation on Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or WooCommerce as scoped. Performance on the templates that take Australian traffic is part of the same pass.
- 04
Launch against your clock
Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and a cutover window that respects your morning — not only ours.
05 — Why Weblexia
How we partner on this work
01
Remote, not a fake local shopfront
Weblexia serves Australian teams without pretending we have a Pitt Street office. Overlap hours, written scope, and a senior lead you can actually reach.
02
Platform as a decision
Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or WooCommerce is chosen against how you sell and publish — not against a directory listing.
03
Operators can run it
CMS, sections, and merchandising are built for the people in your timezone who will ship campaigns after handover.
04
No invented local proof
Selected work shows craft. We will not fabricate Australian logos. If we are not the right fit, we say so.
Partnership signal
What happens when you reach out
A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.
Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.
06 — Capabilities
What we typically implement
- Startup sites
- Positioning UX
- CMS
- AU remote delivery
- Figma
- Webflow
- WordPress

Productized economics
Published ranges and tiers orient the conversation — final statements of work reflect your stack, traffic, and risk profile after a short consultation.
Consultative engagement
- Design engagements are scoped as partnerships — milestones, success metrics, and governance are agreed before material engineering spend.
- Review engagement models on the pricing hub, then book a consultation for a tailored proposal.
09 — FAQs
Questions we are asked before a proposal
Are you based in Australia?
No. Weblexia is a remote studio at weblexia.in. We work with Australia teams over overlap hours, written scope, and a senior lead. If you require staff in-country every week, we are not the right fit — we will say that in the first conversation.
We are pre-seed. Is this too much website?
A tight template set is the point. We will not staff a design system for a five-page launch unless you already have that constraint.
Webflow or WordPress?
Webflow for visual publishing and a small CMS. WordPress if you already live there or need heavier editorial. See those industry pages — one stack in the proposal.
Next step
Discuss your Australian startup website with the team that ships it.
Share the current site, the Figma file, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if a local on-site team is what you actually need.
