WooCommerce for B2B

B2B WooCommerce for how companies actually buy — accounts and rules, not a DTC checkout with a VAT number field.

B2B commerce is accounts, approvals, and pricing that depends on who is logged in. Weblexia builds WooCommerce for manufacturers, distributors, and service-plus-goods businesses that need WordPress content beside a trade storefront — with customer roles, catalog visibility, and checkout behaviour that match procurement, not a consumer funnel with the word wholesale on it.

Prefer economics first? Jump to investment.

Typical engagement

  • B2B account and catalog rules as scoped
  • Storefront templates for logged-in buyers
  • Pricing, tax, and checkout review
  • Payment methods that match how you take trade orders
  • Performance on catalog and account templates
  • Written reply within two business days
  • Reviewed by a senior lead — not a qualifier
  • A clear decline if the fit is not mutual

01 — What we build

What this engagement covers

  1. 01

    Company accounts

Registration, approval, and roles that match how your sales team actually onboards buyers.

  2. 02

    Catalog visibility

Who sees which SKUs and prices — tested as a requirement, not a plugin toggle left on default.

  3. 03

    Quote and order paths

Request-a-quote or checkout with terms messaging when the operation supports it. We will not fake ERP credit in the theme.

02 — What's included

In a typical statement of work

  • B2B account and catalog rules as scoped
  • Storefront templates for logged-in buyers
  • Pricing, tax, and checkout review
  • Payment methods that match how you take trade orders
  • Performance on catalog and account templates
  • Launch, redirects, and ops handover

03 — Process

How the work actually runs

  1. 01

    Catalog and commerce rules

How you price, who can buy, shipping, tax, and which plugins you intend to keep. WooCommerce scope is decided against operations — not against a theme demo.

  2. 02

    Storefront architecture

Product data, taxonomies, and templates before visual polish. Builder chrome is a written choice, not three page builders on one store.

  3. 03

    Theme and checkout

Shop, category, PDP, cart, and checkout with payment and shipping review. Performance on product templates is part of the same pass.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

Staging orders, emails, redirects, and notes merchandisers can follow. Go-live is a rehearsal, not the first complete catalog.

05 — Why Weblexia

How we partner on this work

  • 01

    WooCommerce as infrastructure

Stores fail when checkout, tax, and shipping are plugin afterthoughts. We treat them as architecture on WordPress.

  • 02

    Catalog before theme

Attributes, bundles, and roles are modelled first. A pretty shop page on unstructured products is not a store.

  • 03

    Plugin discipline

Every plugin is a performance and upgrade cost. We keep what the category needs and document what we refuse to install.

  • 04

    WordPress reality included

Editorial and commerce share a stack. We do not pretend the blog and the cart are unrelated systems.

Partnership signal

What happens when you reach out

A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.

Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.

06 — Capabilities

What we typically implement

  • B2B accounts
  • Role catalogs
  • Quote-adjacent UX
  • Trade checkout
  • WooCommerce
  • WordPress
  • PHP
  • MySQL

Investment

Productized economics

Published ranges and tiers orient the conversation — final statements of work reflect your stack, traffic, and risk profile after a short consultation.

Starting from — WooCommerce development

WooCommerce bands reflect checkout and catalog risk. Plugin debt and payment flows are mapped before a number is committed.

WooCommerce development

Starting from $3,500

Checkout-adjacent work, subscriptions, or ERP-touching flows — always risk-mapped first.

Best for · Stores where payments and fulfillment cannot tolerate ambiguity.

09 — FAQs

Questions we are asked before a proposal

Shopify Plus or WooCommerce for B2B?

Shopify Plus has a B2B product. WooCommerce is often right when WordPress is already the content and ops centre, or the buying rules are plugin-shaped rather than Plus-shaped. We recommend from the ruleset, not from a conference booth.

Can you do net-30 and purchase orders?

We can surface the UX and gateways you already use. Credit decisions stay in finance systems. A theme cannot underwrite a buyer.

Is this only for physical goods?

No. B2B services-plus-catalog (parts, kits, training SKUs) fits. Pure services quoting with no catalog may not need WooCommerce at all.

Next step

Discuss your B2B WooCommerce store with the team that ships it.

Share the catalog, the current store, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped WooCommerce build, or a clear decline if Shopify or another stack is the better fit.
