Design & Experience

Shopify store design

Store design that can be merchandised — not a concept that dies in a theme.

We design Shopify storefronts around catalog reality: variants, images, and campaign modules. The Figma file is structured for OS 2.0 sections so development does not invent a second design.

Typical engagement

  • UX flows for browse and buy
  • Figma storefront system
  • Responsive frames
  • Section inventory for Shopify
  • Handoff for theme development
  • Written reply within two business days
  • Reviewed by a senior lead — not a qualifier
  • A clear decline if the fit is not mutual

01 — What we build

What this engagement covers

  1. 01

    Store UX

Home, collection, product, and cart designed as a path to purchase.

  2. 02

    Visual system

Components merchandisers will reuse in Shopify, not one-off artboards.

  3. 03

    Mobile-first commerce

PDP and cart designed for thumbs first.

02 — What's included

In a typical statement of work

  • UX flows for browse and buy
  • Figma storefront system
  • Responsive frames
  • Section inventory for Shopify
  • Handoff for theme development

03 — Process

How the work actually runs

  1. 01

    Commerce brief

Catalog, AOV goals, and operational constraints.

  2. 02

    IA and flows

Collection and PDP structure before visual polish.

  3. 03

    UI system

Figma components mapped to Shopify sections.

  4. 04

    Dev-ready file

States, empty carts, and long product names included.

05 — Why Weblexia

How we partner on this work

  • 01

Senior delivery, not a handoff chain

A lead who can read the design file, the CMS, and the production constraints owns the work. You are not queued behind a sales layer and a junior build team.

  • 02

    Fidelity with maintainability

Pixel accuracy matters. So does what happens after launch — editors, merchandisers, and future campaigns should be able to work without breaking the system.

  • 03

    Performance treated as a requirement

Core Web Vitals, caching, and asset discipline are part of acceptance — not a follow-up project after the site looks finished.

  • 04

    Clear scope before engineering spend

We write assumptions, exclusions, and a definition of done. If we are not the right studio, we say so before you commit.

Partnership signal

What happens when you reach out

A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.

Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.

06 — Capabilities

What we typically implement

  • UX
  • UI
  • Ecommerce IA
  • Handoff to Liquid

09 — FAQs

Questions we are asked before a proposal

Do you design in Figma or directly in Shopify?

We design in Figma so decisions are reviewable, then implement in Shopify. Designing only inside the theme editor is how stores become inconsistent.

Next step

Discuss your Shopify store design with the team that ships it.

Share the Figma file, the current site, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
