Launch & Optimization

Website performance optimization

Make the live site faster where it counts — templates, third parties, and hosting — with evidence.

Weblexia improves performance on production sites using field data and a template-level plan. We do not sell a mystery plugin. WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Webflow each have different bottlenecks; we treat them as such.

Prefer economics first? Jump to investment.

Typical engagement

  • Baseline from field or representative lab data
  • Prioritised backlog
  • Implementation on agreed templates
  • Verification after release
  • Notes on hosting or CDN if that is the constraint
  • Written reply within two business days
  • Reviewed by a senior lead — not a qualifier
  • A clear decline if the fit is not mutual

01 — What we build

What this engagement covers

  1. 01

    Core Web Vitals work

LCP, INP, and CLS on the templates that carry traffic — not a lab-only homepage screenshot.

  2. 02

    Asset and script discipline

Images, fonts, tags, and apps that should not load everywhere.

  3. 03

    Platform-specific fixes

Theme and plugin load on WordPress/Woo, section and app load on Shopify, class and interaction cost on Webflow.

02 — What's included

In a typical statement of work

  • Baseline from field or representative lab data
  • Prioritised backlog
  • Implementation on agreed templates
  • Verification after release
  • Notes on hosting or CDN if that is the constraint

03 — Process

How the work actually runs

  1. 01

    Measure

Current templates, third parties, and hosting. We separate design issues from engineering issues.

  2. 02

    Plan

A written backlog with expected effect — no guaranteed score.

  3. 03

    Implement

Theme, apps, media, and caching changes in a release you can roll back.

  4. 04

    Verify

Re-measure the same templates. Remaining limits are documented.

05 — Why Weblexia

How we partner on this work

  • 01

Senior delivery, not a handoff chain

A lead who can read the design file, the CMS, and the production constraints owns the work. You are not queued behind a sales layer and a junior build team.

  • 02

    Fidelity with maintainability

Pixel accuracy matters. So does what happens after launch — editors, merchandisers, and future campaigns should be able to work without breaking the system.

  • 03

    Performance treated as a requirement

Core Web Vitals, caching, and asset discipline are part of acceptance — not a follow-up project after the site looks finished.

  • 04

    Clear scope before engineering spend

We write assumptions, exclusions, and a definition of done. If we are not the right studio, we say so before you commit.

What happens when you reach out

A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.

09 — FAQs

Questions we are asked before a proposal

Can you guarantee a PageSpeed score?

No. Scores depend on hosting, third-party tags, and content you will keep adding. We commit to a measured plan and to verifying the templates we touch.

Is this a plugin install?

No. Caching plugins can help WordPress, but most slow sites are theme, app, and image problems. We fix those in the stack you have.

Do you work on Shopify and WordPress?

Yes. The playbooks differ. Shopify is often apps and Liquid. WordPress is often plugins, fonts, and uncached dynamic pages. We do not use one script for both.

Next step

Discuss your performance work with the team that ships it.

Share the Figma file, the current site, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
